Billing and prepaid credit

How token usage, cached input, card and crypto top-ups, tax and refunds work.

Fund your account

The minimum top-up is $10.00. Credit and token prices are denominated in USD. Applicable GST is shown separately at checkout. There are no subscriptions or free starting credits.

How usage is charged

The charge is based on uncached input, cached input and output tokens, each at the selected model’s current rate. Cached tokens must not also be charged as uncached input. Internal quota precision may be finer than the rounded dollar value shown in the interface.

Billing formula
cost = (
  uncached_input_tokens × input_rate
  + cached_input_tokens × cached_rate
  + output_tokens × output_rate
) / 1,000,000

Streams and interrupted requests

Generated work can be billable even if the connection closes before you receive the full answer. Missing upstream usage and interrupted-stream settlement are being verified before launch. Do not assume a failed client connection means zero usage.

When payment becomes credit

Card payments are credited after payment verification. Crypto credit appears after the payment provider completes the payment and the amount and currency are verified. Returning to a success page is not itself proof that credit was added. Partial and excess crypto payments require manual review.

Refunds and disputes

The draft policy allows requests for unused credit within 14 days of purchase, net of original payment fees, subject to Australian Consumer Law. A refund reduces your credit; a dispute can suspend the account. Read the full draft policy.

Bill your client separately

An engagement export is a usage statement, not a tax invoice issued on your behalf. Consultant-defined markup changes only the client-billing column in that export. You remain responsible for your own invoices and taxes.
